We have been in contact with the Atlantic County Health Department to discuss our intentions for making Value Added Products with our produce. We are currently working with Chef John Manzione in the commercial kitchen of the Holy Trinity Greek/Ethiopian Orthodox Church. We will be working with Cornell University and developing a few products that we can store for the off season. Our plan is to preserve and jar Pickled Cucumbers, Pickled Beets, Steamed Green Beans, Roasted Red Peppers, and San Marzano Tomato Sauce. We will keep you posted as everything evolves.
We are looking forward to partnering with Mary Lou Gartland. Mary Lou is a Holistic Health Coach from our area who coaches for World Transformation in Well Being. Mary Lou and her husband John are very dedicated supporters of our CSA and we are sure that she will bring something really great to the table. We will have more information about our relationship with Mary Lou Gartland and how she will be offering her services to the community. Stay tuned for more.
